PRZ has been consulting on high wear athletic fields and teaching seminars nationally for over 40 years and has been involved with the owner/management/ maintenance side of athletic fields.
With this experience we approached architects as a representative of the owners as to how to design fields that will stand up to excessive wear.
We began to write tight specifications for construction to ensure that the owners got the specified level of integrity for the field.
Our involvement with all three phases, maintenance, construction, and design, gives us a unique perspective on how to achieve the clients’ goal of sustainable fields.

Elevate Your Sports Fields
When fully implemented, our specification will allow your sports fields to stand up to the severity of the wear that you projected. Most of the time our clients subcontract us to under their landscape architect who is designing the fields. He specifies the irrigation system, the lighting, the stands, and all landscaping other than the field. We engineer the rootzone and turf grasses and they combine our specifications into theirs.
